On behalf of Long Beach Rising!, thank you to the 450 community residents who joined us on May 27 at the People’s State of the City 2015! We have come a long way over the past four years and this year’s annual event represented the largest and most diverse event we’ve ever organized. Thank you for taking the time to reflect the realities of Long Beach residents and join our movement for equity in jobs, housing, education, public safety, environmental justice, and immigrant rights. We’re halfway home, but we have a long way to go!
